This privacy policy explains what information Comfort Masters Heating & Cooling (“Comfort Masters”, “we”, “us”) collects through comfortmastersheatingandcooling.com (the “site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the text messages we send about service requests made through it. It does not cover other websites we link to.

Who we are

Comfort Masters Heating & Cooling is a locally owned heating and cooling contractor at 3502 State Hwy 50, Little River, SC 29566. You can reach us at (843) 443-7186 or comfortmastersat@gmail.com.

Information you give us

Service request form. When you request service, we collect the information you enter: first name, phone number, email address, your town or area, the service you need, and the page you sent the form from. We also record your answer to each consent checkbox, including whether you agreed to receive text messages, together with the date and time and the wording of the checkbox you agreed to.

Phone calls, texts and email. When you call, text or email us, we keep what you share so we can schedule and complete the work, such as your address, your equipment, and the problem you are having.

We do not take payments on this site, and the site has no user accounts.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, your browser sends standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes this information to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google’s measurement and advertising tools:

Google Analytics 4 records how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last. It uses cookies and similar technologies.
Google Ads conversion tracking records when a visit that started from one of our Google ads leads to a call click or a form submission, so we can tell which ads work. For form submissions we use Google’s enhanced conversions: the email address and phone number entered in the form are hashed (converted into a coded string) in your browser before they are sent to Google, which uses them to match the conversion to an ad click.

Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. The site’s fonts, images and review photos are served from our own site, not from third-party servers.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

respond to your request, schedule appointments, and provide estimates and service;
send appointment reminders and follow-ups by phone, email or, if you opted in, text message;
keep records of the work we do for you, including warranty records;
measure and improve the site and our advertising;
prevent spam and protect the site; and
meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the box on our form agreeing to receive text messages, we may text you about your service request, appointment reminders and follow-ups at the phone number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only so they can deliver them.

We share information only:

with service providers that work on our behalf, such as our website host (Netlify, which receives and stores form submissions), our email and phone providers, and Google for analytics and advertising measurement as described above;
when you ask us to, for example if you choose to apply for financing through Synchrony, which you do on Synchrony’s own website under its own privacy policy;
when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public; and
with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them. You can also:

opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on;
adjust or turn off personalized Google ads in My Ad Center; and
learn more about interest-based advertising choices at YourAdChoices.

Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

How long we keep information

We keep service requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you, honor warranties, and meet our tax, legal and accounting obligations. Records of text-message consent are kept for as long as you receive texts from us and for a reasonable period afterward.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and the site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The site is intended for adults arranging home services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by calling (843) 443-7186 or emailing comfortmastersat@gmail.com. We may need to keep some records, such as warranty and tax records, where the law requires it.

Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, such as Google, Synchrony and manufacturer sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
